Ballin' For Peace provides positive recreational activities for youth and adults in the community.
As a non-profit organization, Ballin’ For Peace-New Social Workers has hosted entertaining events in the community since 1981. Our theme ‘Have A Ball Without Drugs, Alcohol and Gang Violence’ has been well received by many communities.
Overview
We provide workshops, employment opportunities, educational grants, scholarships, health care services and other programs for all ages. Our partnerships with various businesses and community organizations within the LA area and abroad, bring special activities to at-risk youth. These events have been a great success. And we’re proud of our reviews from ABC and NBC Los Angeles, national magazines, local newspapers, and the LAPB.

- Providing at-risk youth with an alternative to gangs and violence by promoting involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Offering positive outreach programs such as basketball entertainment, workshops, educational information, health care services, and community events.
- Removing the negative information surrounding youth and to make safe communities to live in.
- Focusing on age groups 10 to 25 for all cultures and ethnicities.
